Admission & General Policies

• Open play is available Monday-Friday with no time limit; weekends and holidays require reservations with a 2-hour play limit.
• Each paying child includes up to 2 free adults; additional adults must pay for separate admission.
• Babies under 10 months are free if accompanied by a paying sibling.
• Waiver Requirement: A signed waiver is required for each child on their first visit. You can fill it out online in advance to save time.
• Shoes are not allowed inside; grippy socks are mandatory for kids and available for purchase.
• Strollers are not permitted inside due to space constraints.
• Our play space is designed for younger children ideally 0-10 years old, but all ages are welcome as long as they respect the play environment. The party room can be used by children of all ages for private events.
• All the rules applies to older siblings above 10 years old as well, even if they “don’t play”. A guardian accompanying a child must be at least 16 years old.
• Play passes are available for purchase, offering up to 20% savings on admission.
• We reserve the right to update our prices and policies without notice.

Health, Safety & Facility Guidelines

Health and Safety:

• For the well-being of all, only healthy children and adults may enter.
• Staff may turn away anyone showing signs of illness. We reserve the right to ask anyone displaying symptoms of illness to leave the facility.

Food & Drinks:

• Outside food and drinks are not allowed (except baby bottles and water bottles).
• We are a nut-free facility to minimize allergy risks. Please do not bring common allergens into the facility (e.g., peanuts).
• Food and drinks from our café must remain in the designated seating area—no food is allowed in play areas.
• Water bottles and baby bottles are allowed in the play area.

Supervision:

• Our play space is parent-supervised—guardians must monitor their children at all times; staff is not responsible for supervision.

Toys & Play Equipment:

• Please encourage children to share.
• Be careful on play structures (e.g., rock walls, monkey bars, foam pits) and take turns with ride-on toys.
• Sensory play areas (sand and water) should be kept in the designated bins.
• Unsafe play, disruptive behavior, and climbing on nets or poles are not permitted.
• No chewing gum inside the play area
• Management reserves the right to update policies and refuse entry if necessary for safety and smooth operation.

Other Policies

Party Room:

• Private Events: Our party room is available for birthday parties and private events. Please contact us in advance to reserve the room.
• Birthday Celebrations: If you're not hosting a private event, please refrain from bringing birthday cakes, balloons, or other party supplies into the play area.

Photography Policy:

• Photography is allowed, but please only capture your own children out of respect for others' privacy.
• Do not photograph other children without their parents' consent. Use our hashtag #Playandponderpdx or tag us on social media to share your memories!

Sanitizing & Cleanliness:

• We strive to maintain a clean and safe environment. Our staff will regularly sanitize high-touch areas and toys.
• Our facility is regularly sanitized with hospital-grade cleaning solution. Full place cleaning is done every night to ensure additional sanity.
• Our restrooms are cleaned and mopped regularly. Please continue to wear socks in the bathroom.

Other:

• No Large Group Celebrations: Informal group gatherings (e.g., birthday parties without reservation) are not allowed during open play hours.
• Reservations: Weekend open play requires reservations during peak times. A small processing fee will apply.
• WiFi: Free WiFi is available for all visitors in the lounge area.
